Hotel Rennsteig

It's an amazing place. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Food is very good and all facilities are very nice. The only critism. The pool table needs a bit of tlc. The gym is very small and limited.

I have been to this hotel mostly for work retreats with colleagues etc. the location is quite outside the town so getting there by private cars is recommended. At least the rooms that I have stayed in have been very nice with good views. Clean and well kept. The bed is super comfy and I could sleep very deeply. Also had complimentary water tea coffee. The breakfast have always been very broad and beautiful made. Lots of stuff to try from. The buffet is also quite filling and has lots of things to try. Especially the cheese and grilled veggies. Good place for work retreats or meetings etc

If you don't mind: in English (or Dutch...) It was my second time in Hotel Rennsteig. And I really really liked it. The place itself, the garage for my bike, the rooms both times, the food, the people who work there... I don't understand the people who have comment on the food: for me it was perfect, served by friendly people. So: next time again, I hope with more Dutch people (11 this time). And as far as I know: all Dutch people were very happy with the hotel and this lovely week. O yes: all the attention for driving fast and curves: I don't like that. Next year a group slower then the slowest this year. And not 280 km a day, but 150 max. Willem Laros photographer / writer Moto73
