Hotel Residenz Passau

We stayed here pre-cruise - Perfect location. Booked a Corner room for 2 nights which was very spacious and well appointed, and had beautiful river views and very peaceful. Rooms are immaculate and look fresh and recently renovated. Beds are super comfortable and the rain-shower is wonderful. Services from start to finish was superb and friendly. English is spoken. Breakfast buffet is included and very nice with plenty of variety. I’m not a hotel buffet person but this was great! My only tiny negative was that there’s no blackout blinds and due to ceiling slope curtains hang far from the window - so pack an eye mask if you’re a light-sensitive sleeper. Fabulous hotel, excellent service, great location. We would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommended.

The Hotel is in the historical center of Passau. The beds of the hotel are very soft and cozy. The breakfast is good, but I am disappointed at the Berliner bol. It is a well-known German pastry, but this was so dry and tasted very old. Also the butter knife and spoon was not that cleane. Nevertheless, this Hotel is very nice with friendly staff which are very helpful

A beautiful hotel! One of the best I have ever been to! You have everything there and even more! Location is perfect for old town outgoings, the room is very cosy and clean, the breakfast is outstanding and the staff are helpful and friendly. The spa area is quite small but extraordinary nice. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back! Thank you very much!
