Hotel & Resort Le Axidie

We stayed in the apartments they were basic but clean and pretty. The beach was wonderful as well as the pool. It would be hard if my grandbabies came because there isn't an area for littles in the pool (too deep). However we will return because it really was a great place to stay.

We spent a couple of weeks at the hotel with the family and 2 children of 3 years old and if you’re thinking to go there with children I tell you don’t go. The location is beautiful, it is in the costiera sorrentina where hardly there is an ugly place. Rooms are nice maybe a bit small, but the service and how guests of the hotel are attended are not worth the price. Swimming pools are not accessible to children but only one day a week, so if you’re thinking to have some time relaxing with your children at the pools forget about that. Funny thing the day we were allowed to go they said there were no beds available and we needed to book them in advance, so a fight to get them. They even tell you “but it’s written in the email”;cmon who ever thinks swimming pools are not accessible to children as in every place in the world children enjoy swimming pools a lot. Breakfast is good but you might fight a bit to get waiters attention. Lunch and dinners are way overpriced and the offer is limited we always went looking nearby, and this is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel you can’t even order a sandwich in the room for dinner, they only offer fine dining and most evenings fixed menu of 60 to 100 euro p/person. This is the most shocking thing: they have lots of parties in the nights, one was till 2 am, luckily one stopped at 12 am since it started raining; rooms are close to the dancing open space so I couldn’t fell asleep till late, I have various video and audio as I couldn’t believe that, they are a bit clueless on how to attend hotel guests. So ask in advance how many nights they have planned parties. Guests of the hotel pay an expensive price for rooms, but receive very badly positioned beach beds as the better ones where the sand is are given to those with the season subscription, so another fight to get better positions. Moreover the general service is sufficient and employees don’t offer that attention required by the price paid. Better going at the beach on a daily basis, rather than as hotel guest for sure. Again, the location is quite beautiful since costiera sorrentina is among my favorite places, but I think the hotel is absolutely not worth the price and will never return
