Restaurant is a joke. Bad joke. Filet mignon with Madeira sauce is filet mignon, not any other cut, Madera sauce is Madera sauce, not barbecue sauce from Heinz. Security is not good. I did not notice any camera or barrier to avoid a strange to reach my room. I expect a very good shower, but it is not the case. I am waiting to someone answer my order. It seems that they are all busy to answer that. Coffee in Brazil, what to expect? A good one. It is not the case.
The hotel seems to be on a higher end during its prime but now needs major renovation. Reception guy during the night did a great job as well as the one who helped bring the bags to the toom. The guy from the counter from the breakfast was attentive and kind, but there was a staff at the breakfast area who does not seem to have manners. Usually, this kind of thing ruins the stay of guests. Traveling to many places in the country and having had stayed in many different places, I rarely complaint about a place until this experience. If you have another option, I don't recomend this place.
Horrible service and accomodations. Save yourself the trouble and stay anywhere else. We arrived 1 hr after the scheduled check-in time for our reserved rooms. Once we and our other party arrived in our rooms we all discovered the rooms had not been cleaned. USED conndoms on the bedside table and cigarettes in the floor. After going back downstairs we had to wait 3 hrs for them to clean our rooms without an apology or willingness to accommodate us with other clean rooms. Upon checkout the waiter from the pool either drastically screwed up on our bill or was trying to steel from us and the hotel manager would not resolve. Thank you Rio Poty for reminding us that some businesses need to go out of business.
