My family and I have returned back to Bastenhaus for the second stay in two months of time - that is how much we like it there! It is a family run hotel with a wonderful restaurant. You can always find your german classics dishes, as well as elevated dishes and vegan options. The staff is kind and professional. My greetings go especially to the cleaning staff. Besides doing great job cleaning they have been very kind to the children. We are already looking forward coming back!
Good eats and Radeberger Bier! Nice staff, very friendly and efficient. Wish they had a better Schnaps selection, not Schladerer. Plenty of locals distilleries they can source from and support.
The location was beautiful with an amazing outdoor pool. The restaurant was also nice with good food. The room we paid for was nothing like the advertisement on their website. We paid for a Königstuhl and the room we received was very small, and the bathroom was extremely tiny. It was nothing like the luxurious description on their website. The style of the room matched the description and photos of the Ludwigsturm zimmer. When I expressed my concerns about the room, I was rudely dismissed. Recommendation: Be honest with the room advertisement on your website.
