We visited Hotel Sengscheider Hof for a weekend. The hotel is well looked after and clean. We used the Spa Facilities (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, plunge pool, hot beds, feet therapy basins, showers, sun room) which was a DELIGHT that is well looked after and clean! The restaurant is GREAT! I would suggest booking a table in advance as it is a popular choice in the area. We booked massages which were amazing! The Hotel is located in a quiet area as it is a just outside of the CIty-Centre. The breakfast was well catered for.
Hotel room is great, very spacious, bright, and the bathroom is very modern. Location is okay, close to a forest. The Hotel is a Wellness Hotel which offers whirlpool, sauna, solarium and even a Pool outside of the weather gets better. The Hotel works with a therapeut which offers loads of things. I would come back here, but more likely even in the summer.
We spent one night in this 4 star hotel which was the hardest night of our tour from Austria. We booked 2 separate rooms which only one was available. Therefore they gave us one room in the second floor which was not aired and was extremely stuffy. There is no air con in that side of building and in order to communicate with the staff you need to walk to the reception. The person who served us tried his best to make our stay comfortable. They gave us 2 free breakfast which was very standard for €17. The hotel is based in a 200 year old convent with very old style furniture. We did not use the sauna and the small outdoor swimming pool.
