Hotel Restaurant Spa Torkel

The best hotel service and food I've had in Germany. We stayed over the weekend and the staff were incredible. Our room had comfortable beds, was pet friendly for our dog, and happily fit our family of 5. On site parking made getting our things inside easy. Due to a family emergency we we're delayed in our initial arrival. We had meals included in our stay and since we were updating the staff from the road, the staff knew we'd miss dinner. With great care they put together a meat, bread, and cheese platter with drinks for us in the room after the late night drive. They stayed up for us to make sure we had everything we needed and I really apprieciate how they went above and beyond for us during that stressful time. The hotel is at a lovely location, and is close to the local train. It's an easy and beautiful walk to the lake with tasty gelato shops on the way. The breakfast and dinners at the hotel restaurant were fresh and delicious. I also had a massage in the spa with their talented therapist. It was very healing and helped with my injury recovery. We hope to come back soon. 💖🏖💖

Rating is for the restaurant, but since the management is the same, must be awesome! Restaurant has a different menu every week. Super service, friendly and attentive, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, wonderful presentation and delicious food: the kitchen is doing really great, like rarely seen. Have been eating there many times, and it has always been a very special moment 🫶🏻

Well located near train station and port. Family-run, much attention to comfort, lovely bathroom and spa products, nice pool, sauna, whirlpool etc. The dining areas were lovely both indoors and outdoors and the half-board meals we had were nicely executed and of good quality. They have a nice wine list and we drank 5 different bottles just note that the wines we selected were not always available. The bread was delicious. Breakfast was very enjoyable with freshly-pressed orange juice, Sekt, a nice buffet and freshly-prepared eggs, pancakes etc. My only complaint was that there was no Wifi in our bedroom which was inconvenient.
