We came to Winterswijk for a family reunion and all stayed at the Stad Munster for a few nights. I thought going to a small town that the hotel would be rustic and quaint, but I was pleasantly surprised by how updated the rooms were. The hotel is right in the little square with bars and restaurants and a farmer's market some mornings. Our room had beautiful views and the owner was so nice and welcoming. We had breakfast at the hotel and I honestly would go back just for the croissants they served.
Great location, good air-condition, good wifi, Smart TV. Not always easy to find free parking spot
Very nice and typical hotel in the right center of Winterswijk, convenient from all points of view. The restaurant offers delicious dishes and some vegetarian options are always included in the cart. In winter time, very nice decorations appear in the lobby. In the spring, at sunset time, from the bar windows don't miss the light effects on the church front, with colors changing every minute.
