Very nice hotel and pleasant staff! Located next to the slopes

I’m so disappointed and underwhelmed. I’ve been living in Switzerland for five years and have been to many ski resorts and hotels so when a hotel claims to be ‘gourmet’, I expect it to be gourmet. We were a group of 20 - if that’s something the hotel can’t manage and pay special attention to considering how much business we were bringing to them, then they shouldn’t be accepting the reservation or atleast try to get staff to accommodate us. The rooms were tiny and underwhelming, I had heard good things about the restaurant but I was served a tomato soup which seemed like it was straight out of a Migros packet and a fish which the waitress told me was from Lago Maggiore which was clearly a lie. The servers were not attentive to us at all - we started dinner at 8pm - our main course arrived at 10.15pm, we were ready to order more wine and were there for a good time but this one waiter seemed fed up of us and barely came to attend to us. For the price they’re charging, which is quite steep, I’m quite disappointed with the way our weekend went. I was also with a group who were ‘returning guests’ who were also quite surprised at how much the service had degraded. The only good thing about this place is the view and the spa which is why I leave two stars.

To much to do about nothing. The old part, the alte Gasse is really to old and in need of a total make-over that represent the needs of a hotelguest anno 2025, the other part the Onya (Spa & resort) is no more then a swimming pool with a few rooms on top. The pricing is Swiss, to high
