Nice hotel not too far away from the beach (about a 3 minute walk). We had no issues parking there as they have enough free parking spaces on the property. The rooms are very nice and clean. The window shutters are electric and the air con was working fine. The pool is also very clean and mostly empty. The noise level inside the rooms was pretty low. You could hear your room neighbor shower but it wasn't too loud or annoying at all. They also have a big breakfast buffet. Staff is friendly as well and speaks English, German and other languages.
Nice hotel in a great location with good amenities. Rooms are everything you would expect them to be with working air conditioning. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of variety. Was happy to see a nice selection of fresh fruit. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Pool area was very nice and apparently you can also access the hotel next door’s pool. Supposedly there is a private beach area for guests staying 3 nights or more. Location is very good. Small convenience store nearby, 5 minute walk to the beach and 10-15 to the central areas. And they also offer bikes for free to get around. Only slight let downs were our safe not working and the treadmill and weights machine (the two main things) in the fitness corner being broken. Overall would absolutely recommend and would definitely return should I visit the area again.
A Star Too Many: A Tale of Overpricing and Dated Decor Upon booking a room at this hotel, the prominent 4-star rating led me to expect a high standard of comfort and modern amenities. However, I was left underwhelmed as the price charged did not correspond to the value offered. The hotel's facilities feel like a throwback to an earlier era, in dire need of a modern refurbishment to justify the costs. The worn-out decor and outdated furnishings were disappointing, making the stay less comfortable than anticipated. Despite being marketed as a 4-star establishment, the setting and ambiance resonated more with a mediocre 2-star inn. On a brighter note, the majority of the hotel staff was courteous and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality was a silver lining to the otherwise gloomy experience. However, the same cannot be said for the hotel manager. Her demeanor was the antithesis of the warm reception we received from the rest of the staff. Her rudeness and lack of professionalism were astonishing, making any interaction with her an utterly unpleasant experience. It's disheartening to see such a discord in customer service in a place that prides itself on a high rating. In conclusion, the price paid was not justified by the outdated facilities and the unpleasant interaction with the hotel manager. A revision of the star rating and a serious overhaul of the premises are imperative to align the hotel’s offerings with the prices charged and the expectations set by the rating.
