We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Its location is superb, within minutes you can walk to all the prime locations in the city. The hotel facility is very new and clean, and the breakfast is a big plus, especially for various day tour trips when lunch is usually pushed past 2pm, a big hearty breakfast at the hotel is particularly useful. Hotel also has inter-connected rooms, making traveling with kids a lot easier.

My wife and I just stayed at this beautiful hotel and were so delighted with the exceptional service and friendliness of the entire staff! Our newly renovated room was immaculate and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was sensational!

After long days of sightseeing in the Icelandic chill, we thoroughly enjoyed unwinding in the sauna, steam bath, and jacuzzi. These amenities were immaculately maintained and added a luxurious touch to our stay. The design of the hotel is sleek, modern, and incredibly clean, creating an atmosphere that feels both upscale and comfortable. Every detail, from the lighting to the room layout, is thoughtfully curated. A special mention must go to the breakfast – it was absolutely phenomenal. A generous spread of both hot and cold options, fresh produce, Icelandic delicacies, and great coffee made it a perfect start to each day. The location is unbeatable: conveniently located next to the Icelandic Street Food restaurant (ideal for a casual, tasty bite), and directly across from Bus Stop #2 – The Pond, making excursions via bus tours incredibly simple and stress-free. In summary, Hotel Reykjavík combines comfort, convenience, and class, all wrapped up with genuinely warm Icelandic hospitality. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone seeking a refined stay in Reykjavík.
