Hotel Rheinischer Hof Bad Soden

Historic hotel close to the station. I had a cozy little room, with a modern and renovated bathroom. Room itself also modern and clean. Service was very nice. I would really recommend and come back if I am in the area. There is also a parking garage.

Clean. Good service. Good breakfast. Fan very loud in the toilet. Specially at night.

I had to check out early to reach the Eurotunnel on time. Although I mentioned my early departure during check-in, the receptionist assured me it would be fine. However, when I arrived at the reception around 5:00-5:10 a.m., no one was there and I waited till 5.45am. In fact, there was no staff on site, which is highly unusual and made me wonder about the protocol in case of an emergency. I ended up leaving the key with a note at the reception. As for the accommodation itself, this was one of many stops on my journey from the Danube Delta in Romania to the UK, and it was the worst. Despite the website claiming the room was 18 square meters, it felt much smaller, more like 10 square meters or lees The area was very noisy, the pillows were uncomfortable, there was no air conditioning, and the fan in the bathroom was very loud, running for about 20-30 minutes after the light was switched off. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I will not be staying at this hotel again. I do not recommend it!
