Hotel Rio 1300

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything is new and works and the free VALET parking cannot be beat. The staff enjoy their work and that is reflected in their attitudes towards the guests. I stayed in a room facing the pool and it was quiet and relaxing. The wall of glass on the exterior wall gave the room an open feeling and I was able to spend some quiet time on the balcony.

The hotel is very nice, centrally located in the touristy part of town. Rooms are comfortable, though the showers don't have much pressure. Nice restaurant in the hotel with great service. They also do massages and various other such services. Only real complaint is that they came in and cleaned the room despite having the do not disturb sign on the door when we left.

This place has my 5 stars for the people working there, between 3 and 4 for the structure itself Do to the pandemic we had it mostly to ourselves. Extremely friendly personal, this is typical un México This hotel has the feeling of a modern yet traditional hotel room Indulge yourselves by asking a room with a balcony Be aware that during rain season the mosquitoes will have a feast with you. However across the street there is a pharmacy with the solution When eating at their restaurant ask for Abraham he is a real sweet helpful kid eager to serve My only set back was their green drink For 2 days it was perfect the third day something terrible happened and it fail the test I was surprised about a small "taco stand " right across from the hotel According to the personnel the owner or one of the owners of the hotel makes some of the best quesadillas I've tested The name on the street vending cart reads Aurelia, the same name of their restaurant This hotel is well center in one of the nicer areas One last item The roof opens up during the day to provide natural light and sometimes to allow the rain to decent on the flora below
