Hotel Ristorante Ala d'Oro

We stayed at Ala d’Oro Hotel for three nights as a base for attending the F1 Grand Prix in Imola with family, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff truly stood out—warm, kind, communicative, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their genuine hospitality made our stay feel both comfortable and cared for. The rooms were clean, well-stocked, and meticulously maintained. While the style was fairly standard for a traditional hotel, everything was spotless and functioned perfectly, which is what matters most. On-site parking was a great convenience, and must be reserved in advance. The restaurant deserves special mention—a small menu of local classics, each dish better than the last. Simple, honest, and absolutely delicious food that captures the essence of the region. Breakfast was another highlight: a beautifully presented buffet with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Located in a quiet, peaceful town, Ala d’Oro is a wonderful place to relax after a busy day. Whether you're visiting the area for an event or just passing through, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its service, cleanliness, and the food alone.

We stayed 2 nights in June 2025 and were very pleased with the hotel. Nice A/C room and ideal situation. The staff is particularly nice, friendly and welcoming.

We chose to stay two nights in Lugo as a jumping off point to visit nearby Ravenna. We were extremely happy with our choice of hotel. Everyone from the kind front staff Michele who was very attentive to our needs as first time visitors to Lugo to the restaurant staff who were very professional (the menu variety was beyond expectations) to the house cleaning staff. What a wonderful stay this year.
