We stayed in this hotel for only 1 night, during a sightseeing tour of Tuscany. The room faced the street and was noisier with the window open, the blackout blinds were excellent. The bathroom and room facilities were adequate, everything was clean, the mattresses were softer but we slept very well. Dinner with 3 courses and pleasant service, breakfast was also very variable and tasty, I recommend adding more types of vegetables. After dinner we went for a walk around the area, but there was nothing interesting there.
I have stayed in the hotel 3 times for work, and every time, i have found the staff fantastic ,helpful, and friendly .great restaurant for dining food has always been excellent. Breakfast has good selection .my number one hotel in town to stay . Will be back soon.
The restaurant was very good, but I had the worst experience at the front desk. Checking out, I arrived at the same moment as a hotel staff coming to talk to the lady at the front desk. I put forward the room key and said I would like to check out, the lady gave me no reaction, not even a look or a "one moment please" but started to talk to the co-worker in Italian at length, I waited a moment then asked "a posto cosi?"(is it ok like this? ) Still got no answer, I lost impatience and turned to walk away, two steps out I was called back and asked "Hai pagato?"(have you paid?) I answered affirmative, and the lady at the front desk asked me to wait, saying she has to check, but she didn't check until she finished talking with the coworker, so I stood there like an idiot while waiting to be checked if I had paid for my stay. I understand of course that hotels would check if the guest has paid, but in such a way is the first time in my life in four continents.
