Hotel Ristorante Le Clarisse

Le Clarisse is one of the most unique and beautiful hotel and restaurants I've ever seen. Located above Amantea, the views are spectacular. However, the real treasure is inside. The hotel exists inside of an old converted church, and is full of unique and interesting architectural elements that make you feel like you're living like royalty. The restaurant has two sections, a beautifully decorated interior area, and a scenic outdoor panoramic patio with breathtaking views. The fish I ate here was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were unique and flavourful. Also, the staff were incredibly friendly and kind. The owners are an absolutely lovely couple, and made my time at the hotel and restaurant a pleasure. Whether for food or lodging, if you are in Amantea, you MUST go to Le Clarisse!!

Excellent experience overall. Went for the chef fish menu, five courses, all of them very interesting (and tasty). The location is also fantastic, dining on the terrace overlooking the sea and the city. It's certainly a place to come back to and recommend hands down.

Le Clarisse, a splendid restaurant and hotel, was the chosen venue for my mother's birthday celebration last Saturday. We had an absolutely delightful experience. The staff were extremely kind and attentive! The establishment boasts a magnificent view of the sea, paired with breathtaking sunsets, making for an enchanting dining ambiance. The menu, which is further enhanced with daily specials based on the catch of the day, guarantees the freshest of fare. We indulged in a full-course dinner - appetizer, first course, main course, and dessert - each dish more delightful than the last. The “ricciola”(amberjack) was exceptional, the “calamarata” with red shrimp and sea urchins was a taste sensation, and the mille-feuille was simply divine. Amidst an evening filled with beautiful people and beautiful moments, Le Clarisse proved to be a precious gem in the heart of Amantea. A visit is highly recommended!
