We arrived unexpectedly at midnight after having flight delays and not being able to travel to our original accommodation. The hotel was so welcoming offering us a beautiful room that was available. They really saved us, we would definitely recommend staying here.
Friendly staff & very nice traditional rooms. Good pool area. By the time we stayed the restaurant was not open & our creditcards haven't worked. Rest good, not fully sure about the 4stars but we would stay again.
With a little TMC and people with a better attitude, this could be a decent hotel. As soon as we got there the owners told us we did not have a reservation. We pulled out the paperwork that proved we did. They took our money without a smile and argued about whether we had booked a superior room or not. We had and one couple got one whilst the other did not. They said the other superior room was occupied- the next day we mentioned tripadvisor and although they spoke no English ( and that’s fine - why should they) the superior room suddenly became available. We went in the restaurant for lunch. Not much on the menu was available and it was not good. Whoever has taken the photos for the website is a very good photographer! Then we were told the restaurant would be closed for the next few days. We weren’t told that at the time of booking. We were told there was no wi-fi - there was for a short while after my friend re-booted it. Breakfast was pretty poor- the same bread was brought out each day until there were only 4 pieces of dry bread left, the ham was bad and the fruit was mouldy! My friends sat in the garden one evening and when they went to go in THE DOORS WERE LOCKED! They banged on the door and yelled for AN HOUR AND A HALF!!! Until a kind German tourist got up at 1.30 in the morning and let them in. Every other day all the doors at the front of the hotel were locked by 6 pm and we had to go up some steps at the back of the building. Very welcoming! Please don’t believe the photos! Avoid this place. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here.
