Hotel Riu Arecas Adults Only

Excellent hotel. We didn't arrive until 11.30pm but nevertheless they had kept a cold buffet available for us. The rooms were kept exceptionally clean, great shower too. Pool area and drinks service were outstanding. The buffet dining was always a treat with great choice and attentive service.

lovely hotel, very quite and relaxing if that's what you're after, with no kids about/in the pool buffet breakfast and evening meals plentiful too. loads of choice so you won't go hungry. not much in the local vicinity but easy enough to walk to other places if needed

Good location, okay hotel - yay for transfers included. They gave us welcome drinks when we came which was nice, but the hotel itself isnt as nice. The rooms look like the picture however the walls are quite thin and the hallway feels more like a motel. Every morning you can hear people walk by and the door slam to wake you up. The restaurants are quite nice, quick clean up and nice staff. Your drinks are not included in half board. The food during dinner can be questionable as the meats are often dry from sitting. Id recommend the pizza! Breakfast was also nice - pancakes/fried egg/churros were the best. There are three pools (one by the beach - best pool spot and two by the hotel). Chairs are often already taken by people placing their towels early in the morning. However one can always find a place. Okay hotel for 4 days, but probably would find a different hotel the next time.
