We stayed at riu jambo from the 19th to the 26th July 2025. We had an awesome 👌 time. From the moment we walked into the reception, we were greeted with friendly and pleasant smiling faces. Namely UPENDO at reception who went beyond to make our welcome special. She was 5* in her field and advised us on the layout n activities of the week. She also advised us on upgrades of rooms. Really a pleasant start to our vacation.

Amazing resort. Food is great and we had a lot of diversity! The staff is incredible and always ready to help and serve you. Very good cocktails. The beach is lovely and the swimming pools great as well. Strongly recommend, 5 star service provided. Salvatore was a particular good waiter!

Our experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing from the moment we arrived. The check-in process was painfully slow, and the reception staff were unresponsive and inefficient. We booked two rooms for our family of five, and specifically requested rooms away from the construction site next door — based on a warning from a relative who had stayed here recently. Despite this, both rooms were right next to the noisy construction, ruining any chance of rest or enjoyment of the partial sea view. There were no basic amenities in the room: no complimentary water bottles, no tissue boxes, and to make things worse, the rooms smelled musty and moldy. It seems there may be mold behind the walls, possibly covered with paint, but the smell is unmistakable. The bedsheets were damp and felt unpleasantly moist to sleep on — as though they hadn't been dried properly. This, combined with the odor, made the entire stay uncomfortable and unhygienic. We had requested adjacent rooms to accommodate our young children but even this basic request was not fulfilled. As for the food, the quality was poor, and I suspect I may have experienced food poisoning from one of the meals served during our stay. Overall, this wasnt a very good experience. Between the poor service, moldy smell, noisy construction, lack of amenities, and questionable hygiene standards — I can confidently say that I will never return to this hotel and do not recommend it to anyone.
