Hotel Riu Palace Baja California Adults Only All Inclusive

We had an unforgettable vacation at Riu Baja California in Cabo San Lucas! Everything about this resort was top-notch—from the delicious food to the endless flow of drinks and the nonstop entertainment. There was always something fun going on, whether it was a beach party, live DJ, or themed event. The energy at the pool and around the resort was incredible! The staff were all so friendly, and it was easy to meet people from all over the world. Everyone was having a great time, which made the atmosphere even better. Whether you’re there to relax or party, this resort has the perfect mix of both. Highly recommend for couples, groups, or anyone looking for a fun and lively all-inclusive resort in Cabo. We’re already planning our next trip back!

While the hotel looks amazing on the pictures, there are couple of things we wished someone told us about it. First, all polls are shallow, our home swim spa is much deeper. Every day water in all pools were getting so warm, almost hot, that there were no purpose to get in there. The water in both bar pools were cloudy, who knows what was causing it. Also, it was either prohibited or not recommended getting in the sea at the hotel area due to killing currents, and strong waves. We had to either take a very long walk out to take uber in order to get to the public beach. We spoke with locals and found out that hotel beach Is not adopted for swimming. It means that hotel’s description is misleading, or not disclosing entire info -> leaves a room for higher expectations. Buffet food had great variety of seafood, meat, other great stuff - 5 stars for that! But food in the Mexican restaurant was a disappointment. Really, Hotel Management, you should visit it sometimes. The service in Kristal restaurant was very low quality, The waters literally were making no effort to make us feel as guests. Cafe was very nice, coffee delicious, we felt welcomed there. Mattress in the room was so bad… I have hard time to understand how condition of mattresses can be neglected so badly. The host on the phone was helpful. I only needed to call three times too ask for refilling our water in the fridge, and the lady helped us within no more than 1.5 hours on the second day. Otherwise, everything was really great - thank you so much! The Hotel Reputation Manager just responded to our review (please keep in mind that this review reflects opinion of our entire Family of 6 people) - so, I am increasing our overall rating by one star for issue with mattress could have been easily fixed, if we asked for it. Disappointed by Poor Treatment at the Mexican Restaurant I stayed at this all-inclusive resort expecting professionalism and quality service, but I was shocked by how I was treated at the Mexican restaurant. Upon arrival for dinner, I was denied entry because a staff member — Katarina — incorrectly assumed my crop top was a swimsuit. This was not only embarrassing but also showed a complete lack of understanding of appropriate dress standards. I had to speak to a manager just to be allowed to eat dinner, which is completely unacceptable for a resort of this level. Guests should never have to go through this type of unnecessary and uncomfortable experience. I do want to thank Manuel, who stepped in and handled the situation professionally and respectfully. His help was greatly appreciated, but this issue should never have happened in the first place. Until staff are better trained and more educated on customer service and resort policies, I cannot recommend this property
