Great stay overall! Hotel Playa Park offers clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a nice pool area. The location is convenient — close to the beach and restaurants. The food was decent, with enough variety, though not exceptional. Sometimes a bit noisy in the evening, but that’s expected in the area. A solid choice for a relaxed holiday in Palma, especially if you're looking for good value near the beach.
Usual great standard of service from RIU hotels (we've stayed in a few). Service is brilliant and I can't fault the food. My only call out for those who enjoy a morning swim before breakfast is that the pool does not open until 10.30 - which feels very very late when on holiday. That can be quite difficult to manage with children too - who are keen to enjoy the pool. Location is ok. In quite a busy area. We had requested a quiet room - which although didn't overlook the sea (always a bit sad when you don't get a sea or pool view) we had no issues at all with noise.
To be honest, the hotel itself is very clean and the staff is super friendly. The rooms are great and overall comfortable, and the food is okay. Personally, I find that breakfast starts a bit late at 08:00. The hotel is located on a street that seems very popular with German tourists, and it’s extremely noisy. On our first day, my mom and I were honestly shocked by how busy and loud it was it felt like we were in the middle of a party street, like something you’d expect in Lloret de Mar or Albufeira. There are a lot of young people, many of them drunk, and unfortunately they bring the noise with them into the hotel at night shouting in the hallways at 3:00 AM, for example. The beach is nice and close, which is a big plus. However, in the evening the area becomes more of a party zone, and in the mornings there are even people passed out on the beach from the night before. So in my opinion, the hotel is nice but it’s located in the wrong place if you’re looking for peace and quiet.
