Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf

I love this hotel! The staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed here for 3 nights, then left our luggage and came back for another night after our Yosemite trip. The room was clean and spacious. Extremely good location since it is 3 minutes away from big bus tour and golden gate/ Alcatraz boat tour. The only downside is that if you stay on a lower floor, you might hear people walking above you so I recommend staying on the 4th floor if you can.

The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the wharf. The grandkids enjoyed the ambiance, and the front desk staff was fantastic. Odette was especially helpful and professional, answering all my questions. I loved the breakfast buffet in the morning. The price for our stay on Saturday was affordable, and I would stay at this hotel over and over again.

I do not recommend to park on the hotel parking. We got our car opened despite the fact it is a parking way more expensive than others in the area. We were lucky that we didn’t left anything there. It is true that the hotel service were sorry and gave us a small discount… but it doesn’t compensate the bad moment we live when we found our car like that. The “resort fee” too expensive for the services offered. Our room wasn’t acoustically isolated really well. The rest of the hotel is fine. Good location, nice lobby, and good people working there.
