Hotel Riu Plaza New York Times Square

Absolutely exceptional stay! This hotel exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was truly five-star — attentive, professional, and warm. The atmosphere is pure luxury, with elegant interiors and every detail thoughtfully designed for comfort and style. Breakfasts were out of this world — delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented with a wide variety to choose from. The location is also perfect: close to everything, yet peaceful and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-tier hotel stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Beautiful Hotel in the Perfect Location I recently stayed at the Riu Plaza Manhattan Times Square and had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel is in an unbeatable location—just steps from Times Square, Broadway theaters, and many restaurants. It’s perfect for exploring New York City. The interior design is elegant and modern, with stylish touches that make the space feel both luxurious and comfortable. The lobby is welcoming, and the rooms are clean, well-lit, and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the daily housekeeping service. The only downside I noticed is that the bathroom has a sliding door that doesn’t fully close. While this wasn’t a big issue for me, it might be something to consider if you’re sharing the room and prefer more privacy. On the positive side, breakfast was great—fresh and with many options. The staff was kind and helpful throughout my stay. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends, couples, or solo travelers. It offers great value, fantastic service, and one of the best locations in Manhattan. Just be aware of the bathroom design, and everything else will likely exceed your expectations.

The hotel indeed offers a great location in Manhattan and is easy to move around. The breakfast and line to get into the restaurant was a mess, there’s a lot of people coming down everyday for breakfast and there’s no enough room for everyone which results in a very long line that also makes getting up to the elevators difficult. Breakfast was not bad but thinking it lacked variety. There was not enough fruit to choose from and it was the same type everyday. The biggest failure was the room, they only offer water the first day as courtesy. The shower leaked all the water to the bathroom and the bedroom’s floor, everyday we needed to use the extra towels to dry up the floor and prevent making a mess. The room in general was good but thinking final price for a night is not worthy compare to the amenities and general state of this hotel. Way overpriced.
