Hotel Riu Tikida Palmeraie All Inclusive

Another Wonderful Stay at Riu – But a Couple Things Could Be Better This was our second stay at the Riu Hotel, and once again, we were impressed. Everything from the staff, the room, the fellow guests, the front desk clerks, the beautifully maintained gardens, the bartenders, and the servers – all were absolutely amazing. The service was warm and professional, and the hotel itself remains a lovely and relaxing place to stay. That said, there are two areas that could use some improvement. First, the system around reserving poolside spots needs to be reconsidered. Guests should not be allowed to claim sunbeds by simply placing towels early in the morning – it’s unfair to others and creates unnecessary tension. Second, the entertainment could be better. Last year, it felt more organized and lively. This time, it seemed a bit arbitrary and less engaging. A bit more planning and variety could go a long way in bringing the fun factor back to what we experienced before. Overall, we still had a fantastic time and would definitely return – just hope to see those two points improved on our next visit!

Our second time at this hotel and still brilliant. The rooms were very clean (although could do with an update and refresh of bedding, towels and window dressing). The food was very good and varied. The gardens are kept immaculate and so beautiful. The whole hotel and grounds are completely accessible for guests with wheelchairs/mobility scooters. The staff are amazing - nothing is too much trouble. They made the holiday extra special.

Lovely resort. Riu standards. It is super well maintained. The staff, waiters, front desk, cleaners and gardeners are all awesome and they make you feel welcome and relaxed. Food is very good and the swimming pool is huge clean and welcoming. All thumbs up 👍
