The hotel may be a few years old, but it still looks great. The staff really takes care to keep everything clean and create a friendly vibe. We had a big room with a separate bedroom. The room was clean overall, though there was a bit of a weird smell in the bathroom – nothing too bad though. No bugs in sight :) The pool was spotless and had plenty of loungers to relax on. The beach was stunning, with amazing sand and a breathtaking ocean view. The food was varied and really tasty. All in all, a great place to spend your vacation!

Hotel is very clean and impressive. Rooms are abit dated and definitely showing their age. The food isn’t bad. The Asian restaurant isn’t worth the hype, it’s at best equivalent to a frozen meal. Main restaurant and Italian on the other hand is very good. The website states it has 6 pools it has three… and the only way you can gain access to one is too either wake up at 6am to secure a sunbed or like we had to do is to pay and upgrade to the adults only section where it’s much more what Is expected for the price. The beach is lovely tho you will never be able to enter the water

The hotel is absolutely stunning at first glance — it truly feels like a small city or a palace in the desert. The architecture, palm-lined paths, and layout leave a lasting impression. Inside, there are several restaurants, bars, shops, a spa, and even a hair salon. After getting braids done at the salon, I ended up with some swelling (I looked like a dolphin, no joke — but that’s on me 😅). The staff were polite, hardworking, and kind — always smiling and doing their best in a challenging environment. I have a lot of respect for them. However, behind the impressive surface, there were serious maintenance and hygiene issues that made the stay difficult to enjoy. • Our room constantly smelled of strong sulfur, especially in the bathroom, likely due to chemical treatments or pest control happening while guests were inside, which is concerning. • We found cockroaches in the room. Staff removed the dead insects, but no preventive action was taken. • The toilet flush was leaking water loudly all day, and at night it didn’t work at all, making basic hygiene and privacy a problem. • Room cleaning confirmations were sometimes marked in the RIU app, even though nothing was done. • I experienced seven restless nights, which made it hard to enjoy what could’ve been a dream holiday. The contrast between the hotel’s luxurious appearance and the lack of comfort behind the scenes was frustrating. With a little more attention to maintenance and better communication with guests, this hotel could truly be exceptional.
