Hotel Riu Vistamar All Inclusive

We have been here previously as a family of 7 when the kids were smaller and have returned now with teenagers and as a couple The hotel has been renovated since then. Was lovely then and even better now.The rooms are cleaned daily, the pools are clean and there is a choice of areas, there are always sun beds available and clean towels The staff are friendly, welcoming and always try their best. Always have a smile and pass the time with people. A simple question is always answered. Just to mention one or two who made our stay extra special Jeroen and Eveleio were both amazing on reception. And as well as having fantastic customer service were just genuine lovely people to us all. All staff from reception to restaurant to bar to pool and cleaning were lovely and the lovely gentleman on the breakfast terrace who made us smile every day with coffee in hand thank you ! As he said it is not our last day it is the beginning of planning our return ! The hotel is clean and offering hand sanitizer to everyone is a welcome added extra. I think some people don’t realise they touch their faces and then handle food quite so often ! Use the sanitizer it keeps you and others safe from being sick on holidays - particularly if you have a compromised immune system unfortunately like me Yes there are steps to the pool and sometimes you have to wait for a lift but when eating and drinking for a few days it’s a welcome free added extra. Smile you’re on holidays. The walk to the beach is lovely and there is a bus back up. It is worth it. Such a lovely beach. There are shops and bars outside the hotel nearby and a short taxi drive away. There is lots to do for all ages. Kids clubs, sports bars, eating, drinking, exercising, relaxing and so much more The White party is a must for all ages, hopefully we will experience the neon one next time. They were great in Cape Verde too !! The views are priceless and the sunsets memorable. If you’re not happy here then I don’t know how you could ever be happy 💙 We will be back ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Slainte and go raibh maith agat from the Irish crew 🇮🇪

Rooms a little dated. Room 157, the aircon couldn’t keep up with the heat. Front desk said it was fixed but never got colder than 22c. Family rooms on 1/2 floors. Not enough lifts for how busy it was but food, entertainment, pools, staff were all brilliant. We will definitely return. The views from the hotel are unbelievable. The sports bar is brilliant. - parking is €9 per day. I’ve never paid for parking at a 4 star resort! Just saying.

Good holiday overall but few things to note. When we arrived we were greeted by a very small talked receptionist he pointed where to go to our room and that info is in a website and there was no one to assist us to our room or help out with luggage. Gym equipment was not great, there is one treadmill and it wasn’t working. Swimming pools were smaller than we thought they would be from photos. Good things to note: Food was great in my opinion and therefore biggest complements to chefs we found there was plenty of choice and always something nice to eat. Drinks and bar staff were absolutely perfect. Rooms were clean and well kept, cleaned every day. Hotel is nice with lovely view. Overall we would return to this hotel.
