Hotel Riviera dei Fiori

We stayed at this hotel for a week and we had such an amazing experience. The members of staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Hotel itself remembers better days. Room was worn out, poorly equipped. Staff lazy, got the feeling we were the problem and they had better things to do than doing their job, especially tall male - the restaurant waiter. Other than that it is a nice hotel, family friendly and rather quiet.

The hotel is not bad in itself, but I do think it is very overpriced. Doesn’t compare to facilities and services offered in other countries in this price range. Will give just an example, the restaurant. We booked half board to not have to worry and the dinner is really very good BUT it took more than 2 hours for the waiters to bring the 4 courses. Way too much for our baby to wait patiently. So after a couple of days we switched to lunch. Out of the whole team of waiters only one spoke English, but he wasn’t there every night. He also seemed to be the only one who knew there was a seating plan. After returning home, found this place for a third of the price on the voyage-prive website. For that price we would have been completely satisfied.
