I recently stayed at Hotel Riviera Seoul during a business trip, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Located in the heart of Gangnam yet tucked away just enough to avoid the chaos, this hotel strikes a perfect balance between accessibility and peaceful comfort. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and professional. The front desk staff were courteous, helpful, and spoke English well—something I deeply appreciated as an international traveler. They even helped arrange a quick taxi and provided local tips. My room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was soft and inviting after long days of meetings and sightseeing. I particularly enjoyed the large windows with city views, a well-stocked minibar, and a bathroom that felt clean and modern. Though the interior decor felt a bit classic compared to modern boutique hotels, it added a sense of timeless charm rather than feeling outdated. The in-house breakfast buffet was satisfying, with a good mix of Korean and Western options. I also loved the hotel’s gym and sauna facilities—very clean, well-maintained, and a great way to unwind. One of the biggest advantages is the location. It's within easy reach of major subway lines, COEX Mall, and several top attractions, yet far enough from the hustle to enjoy a quiet night’s sleep. For business travelers, it’s also quite close to key conference venues and corporate offices. Overall, Hotel Riviera Seoul gave me a relaxing, worry-free stay and felt like a reliable home base in one of Asia’s busiest cities. Whether you're visiting for business, a conference, or simply exploring Seoul, I would gladly return here again.

Staffs are always reluctant and unfriendly (except for the housekeeping ladies, they’re friendly). Rooms are very dated but location isn’t too bad if you get a cab. If delivery is accessible, food isn’t a problem. However, without delivery service and not taking a cab, there isn’t much decent food places within walking distance and the nearest subway station is quite far. Overall, stay as far away as possible from this establishment and take your business elsewhere for this price point.

Not what you would expect for the price, sheets are broken, there was an insect and hairs in the bathtub, desk office try to charge double of the internet price for one more night, overall not tourist friendly, you would expect a better hotel for the price, property is no maintained as it should be, desk personal were not friendly, the cleaning lady was friendly but just her. Well located, luxury cars at the parking but feels old inside the room and the mattress was of very poor quality the sheets had holes in them so did the chairs, the only great thing is that house keeping returned my EarPods as I left them in the room after swift check out Housekeeping lady was lovely since the beginning
