Had low expectations based on the reviews and it exceeded it. The room was fortunately very clean but it is by no means a 4 star hotel and needs improvement. In particular the bed is noisy, the sheets aren’t big enough to be tucked in or thick. The towels are like rags. We were given an inwards facing room that was quiet but in effect it was a windowless room as the shutter couldn’t be opened.

The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. It’s truly beyond me how this place is rated as a 4-star hotel. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that nothing about this establishment lived up to that standard. The premises were filthy and severely outdated, with worn-out furniture, stained linens, and an overall atmosphere of neglect that made my stay deeply uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the staff were completely unequipped to assist in English, creating a frustrating communication barrier for any international guest. Their lack of professionalism and training was painfully evident, and even basic requests felt like a monumental task. If you’re considering staying here, I strongly advise against it. This was not just a disappointment—it was a letdown of epic proportions.

Incredibly bad. Truly incomprehensible if you arrive around midnight with guests, there is no reception staff present and you are told this is stated in the terms and conditions, and that the room cannot be used until the next morning. The arrival time was communicated in advance, but Aníbal does not respond to e-mails. Other guests, who had gone for a drink could also not enter their room. Avoid this hotel. For 10 euros more you are in hotel Santiago.
