This is one of the best hotels I have ever been to. The staff were incredible. The room was incredible. The food was incredible. The views were incredible. I highly recommend coming and enjoying this place. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with spectacular views of the mountains. The beds are clean and comfortable. Every single staff member we interacted with seemed genuinely happy to help us. Truly an incredible experience. One note: EV charging is locked behind valet, so if you are self parking you will have to find other places to charge if you have an EV. That is really the only downside we experienced our entire time, and the staff was very understanding. If you are thinking about staying here, do it. You will not regret it.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Roanoke and was initially a bit hesitant due to the hotel’s age and historic reputation. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautifully updated and well-maintained the property is. The balance between its charming, historic architecture and the modern comforts of today is truly impressive. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Every interaction—from the front desk to housekeeping—was marked by genuine hospitality and warmth. It’s clear that customer service is a top priority here. The cleanliness of the hotel was also outstanding. My room was spotless, well-appointed, and thoughtfully updated, offering all the modern amenities I needed while still maintaining a classic, elegant feel. Common areas were equally well cared for, with attention to detail throughout. What stood out most, though, was the overall atmosphere. Despite its size and historic stature, Hotel Roanoke felt cozy, peaceful, and inviting. It’s clear why this hotel has such a strong reputation—not just for its legacy, but for its ability to evolve and continue delivering excellent guest experiences. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blend of tradition, comfort, and outstanding service.

Overall our hotel stay was satisfactory. When we checked in the front desk clerk was nice & sent us on our way. I love the mobile key access, I was able to give my spouse a key as well as use my phone to enter. We noticed a few stains in some areas of the room. It wasn't something that we needed to move rooms for but expect a little better at the price we paid. I love the historical touch that this hotel offers, that along with the Regency room will keep us coming back.
