Hotel Rocamarina Adults Only

We came back to Hotel Rocamarina this year because of the amazing time we spent there in 2024. We were not disappointed. We were welcomed back line old friends, recognised by staff which really warmed my heart. From reception staff to dining room, maid service, bar staff you have a wonderful team who go above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect and it was. Food is amazing always plenty of choice, a big Well Done to Renata who ensures all are welcomed and happy. Casi also is a great asset to your hotel. That's not to take away praise from all staff but I had to mention these 2 beautiful ladies who are so hard working and a credit to the Rocamarina. Our room was spotless and was cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. We really appreciated the bottle of wine to welcome us back. Thank you all so much for another fantastic stay We have now found our forever hotel.

I am giving the room a 5 stars because this place is reasonably priced and the rooms are perfectly nice. Personally, I love the kitchy atmosphere and feel of the place. A haven for British couples. Great pool and really comfortable atmosphere. The shows they had in the evening really topped up the experience. They were creative fun and surprisingly high quality for this level.

I recently stayed here for a short break and unfortunately, it fell well short of expectations. This is rated as a 4-star property, but in reality, it feels more like a tired 3-star at best. The overall decor is very dated — more like an old-fashioned nursing home than a modern hotel. Carpets throughout were filthy, with visible stains and a generally grubby feel. Paint was peeling off the walls in several areas, which only added to the rundown atmosphere. The pool area was also disappointing — dirty loungers, murky water, and generally not very well looked after. Definitely not a place you’d want to spend time relaxing. Service-wise, most of the staff were fine, but the bar staff stood out for the wrong reasons — rude and dismissive, which really took away from the experience. On a more serious note, one evening I believe I was spiked while having drinks before heading to a nearby restaurant. I want to be clear that I’m not certain whether this happened at the hotel bar or the restaurant we visited shortly after, but either way it was a very upsetting experience. The hotel did not handle it particularly well when informed, which only added to the stress. All in all, I can’t understand the glowing reviews here. Anyone giving this place 4-5 stars either has very low expectations or has never stayed in a proper 4-star hotel. I wouldn’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless the hotel undergoes serious refurbishment and staff training
