Hotel Roma

Hotel Roma is a charming little hotel in the heart of Florence with wonderful staff. The common areas are beautiful and have a touch of old Florence elegance, such a la beautiful stained glass and marble floors/stairs. The hotel itself is quite old which just adds to the charm. The rooms have not been updated in a while FYI but that wasn’t a problem for me. The location is very convenient, only a few minute walk from the train station with our luggage so we didn’t have to struggle pulling luggage on cobblestone for long. The hotel is right on the corner of a Piazza where live music is sometimes heard at nights. I’d recommend booking this hotel directly through the hotel and not a third party site for the best price. Price was very reasonable for our stay! I’d definitely recommend a stay at this hotel! You won’t regret it.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Florence! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, with all the major shopping spots and the train station just a short walk away. The staff truly made the experience special—they were incredibly helpful, kind, and always polite. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Florence!

Perfect location for a hotel and the staff were friendly. We stayed in the building next door. It didn’t bother us, but there is no lift. Room was a touch small with not a lot of wardrobe space to unpack cases, but it was just fine for the three nights we stayed. Would use this hotel again if we come back.
