Hotel Rosales Boutique

This hotel was in a great downtown area. We stayed back in May and they were great. Although, I didn't like in breakfast dining room they asked if my sisters were in the stayed room with us. Right after breakfast was done I was stopped by the receptionist on the hall to provided an extra fee of 160,000.00 pesos for the breakfast my sister had consumed. I think they could have handled that better maybe at check-out. I would be more than happy to pay it but don't agree with the way I was approached.

Very nice boutique-style hotel - clean and modern. The staff were very attentive and provided excellent service. Camilo really impressed me - he worked the front desk in the day, handled baggage, and even helped out in the breakfast area - offering great service all the way around. Another outstanding staff member, Walter, worked the front desk in the evening, made restaurant recommendations, and dinner reservations. Great job gentlemen! Recommended.

Very kind, service oriented, polite and helpful staff. Also the communication with the staff before arrival was excellent. They helped us with many things. The paid transfer from airport was also punctual and convenient. Rooms are spacious. The breakfast is not a buffet, it’s simple, but fine. However, the basic things that should be functioning in a hotel didn’t. We stayed here two nights. I changed my room once. In all three rooms (mine and my friend’s) there was no hot water despite the fact that their information indicates specifically that they have hot water. We asked three times to fix the problem. Nothing happened and the last day we were told that they had a look and everything seemed fine. They didn’t offer any kind of compensation for the inconvenience. Further, upon arrival the fan in my room didn’t work and because of that I had to change room. Things like this should be checked prior to check-in. One of the pillow covers was covered with stains. The safe was not working, it was fixed, then it wouldn’t open again. The toilet was blocked the second day. We ended up asking for problems to be solved constantly. They have a nice rooftop but they turn off the lights in the evening and it’s not possible to sit and have a drink. That’s a pity.
