Hotel Rosamar Maxim Adults Only 21

Great location right next to the beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable but basic. Spa on the same floor is a bonus I enjoyed. Breakfast is lovely with lots of choices.

Solid hotel pick for those who just need a place to sleep and have a bit of breakfast. I wouldn’t say the hotel is that special. Upon arriving at our room we could see small bits of sand and some hairs scattered around the floor, mainly in corners of the bathroom. Neither me nor my girlfriend were really bugged by it, but it’s not hygienic either. We expected a bigger balcony, as our “balcony” consisted of 2 sliding glass doors and 20cm of roof tiles with a frame over it. Photos online could be interpreted as if every room has a large balcony however. Breakfast was good and diverse enough for our needs. The beach is literally across the street, which was the main reason why we chose this hotel. Overall just a pretty good experience.

The location was ideal on the beach front and a short walk to the town. The hotel was located between 2 restaurants and at night it was very noisy after hours such as 1am, with them moving tables and barrels this was disrupting sleep as well as other guests and restaurant staff were shouting to each other. The bed was very comfy but I did find a nail in the bed that wasn’t mine. The sink had a dark hair on it again wasn’t mine as I am blonde. This made me think the room hadn’t been cleaned before I arrived. The shower wall was cracked and not tiled. This was very off putting as it needs re plastering and tiling. My preference of room would be a larger than needed as I like space. The photos are misleading making you think the room are a lot bigger than they actually are. Breakfast was buffet style and again no staff around to help if needed. Breakfast ran from 8am-1pm. The maids were about and wanting to get into the room at 9am. Polite staff but weren’t always were you could find them if you needed them and the phone in the room what you would usual use to ring reception didn’t work. This hotel was not to my expectations as it was very expensive for what you got when you arrived.
