Hotel Rotondo

Room was nice and clean but the smell there was awfull, when we open the Window it was very loudly because of the Road. Then we had to go on the other side of Street to the second building where u can use wellness area. Pool was a bit dirty and there were insects on the wall, sauna was switched off so basicilyy u cant use it. Staff was very very friendly and good breakfast

The staff is actually quite nice, but there are a few serious issues that make the hotel’s 4-star rating feel very misleading. The advertised spa center is not functioning, and the only way to book a massage is after September—when the massage therapist arrives—which is basically at the end of the season when most guests no longer need it. We were placed in a separate building across the road, which was already disappointing. But worse, our bathroom has mold, a terrible smell, and, most disturbing of all—ant colonies. We reported this to the management, and a manager came and sprayed some insect repellent in parts of the bathroom and bedroom. Unfortunately, that didn’t solve the issue, and the ants keep coming. I’m very upset that we have to spend 10 days in such conditions. This is far from what we expected and definitely not what you would expect from a 4-star hotel.

The hotel is 2* maximum. When we arrived, the wellness wasn't working. The room was like we were in the 80s. The water in the sink did not go down. Mold in the bathroom. When we asked to fix it, they have done only in the evening of the next day. The breakfasts were sad. Only the croissants were tasty. At dinner, by the time we arrived at 20.00, almost everything had been eaten. The price doesn't match the quality.
