Hotel Rott Prague

An Unexpected Change Turned into a Wonderful Experience, Hotel Rott is Outstanding! And a big thank you to Adam, very professional person! My stay at Hotel Rott was simply amazing, even more so because it came about unexpectedly. I was originally supposed to stay at another hotel (the Grand Hotel Prague), but due to a last minute misunderstanding, I had to change my plans. Thankfully, I ended up at Hotel Rott, and I couldn't have been happier with how things turned out. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with such warmth and professionalism that all the stress of the change quickly disappeared. The hotel itself is stunning immaculately clean, elegant, and in a perfect central location. A special mention must go to Adam, who went out of his way to make me feel at home. His friendly attitude, helpfulness, and attention to detail truly made my stay exceptional. What started as an inconvenience became one of the highlights of my trip. I highly recommend Hotel Rott to anyone visiting Prague, you’ll be in excellent hands.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Rott. The location is fantastic, the staff was attentive and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, and and the room was very comfortable. I appreciated the attentiveness to detail (they welcomed me with a note and some chocolates in my room, and the cleaning staff was very thorough and discreet). My room was quiet (on the back of the building), bright, and spacious. Loved it! I will be back!

Stayed at Hotel Rott for roughly 4 nights. The location in Prague Old Town was superb, being able to get to any relevant location within maximum 30 min walking distance. The room was decently comfortable and the bed was easy to sleep in. The floor creaked alot though, so getting up during the night to the restroom woke my friends up. The breakfast had a veritable selection which varied a bit per day, so you could get a decent meal to get you through the day. Quite delicious. The personnel was helpful during check-in, being able to store our baggage before check-in time and were gracious enough to allow us to check-in little bit earlier. However, it was apparent that they weren't terribly to keen to recommend services (such as breakfast) at other places if they had the service themselves. They were not transparent in communicating that they take an additional service fee whenever we asked them for simple help, such as booking seats at restaurant. When I wanted to book a certain restaurant, the personnel insisted on booking for us when I asked for simple help and tacked on an additional service fee, as well as requiring upfront payment in cash. Suspecting something wasn't right, we canceled and booked it easily ourselves via the internet (with card payment), without the fee. I wish the staff had been more transparent. Overall, great location and decent stay, though I advise anyone staying here to be wary and read-up before staying at the hotel.
