Hotel Royal Bangkok

I stayed here for a couple of nights after travel plans unexpectedly changed. The rooms feel modern and comfortable, no noise pollution, staff is professional and efficient, the location of the hotel is absolutely amazing. Right on the doorstep of the lively Yaowarat Road with eateries, grocery stores en a 7-Eleven within a few metres. This hotel has very reasonable prices for a 4-star hotel. It was also close to the metro station, which was great to reach the shopping malls. If I come back to Bangkok, I would choose this hotel again.

Location is excellent, but my room’s bathroom had some ants and also one of the switches seems inverted compared to the others. The room is otherwise clean. The master on/off switch didn’t work properly as well. The amenities are nice, such as the pool.

Hotel is so clean and the rooms are fantastic. The shower is massive and they give you lots of towels. Beds are a little stiff. Service was excellent, we requested additional pillows with no issues. Breakfast was amazing. Great location in Chinatown so there are so many options for food. It can be a little loud given the location so I suggest ear plugs at night. Pool was closed for renovations but the roof top bar was great. Posting a view from the room on the 11th floor.
