My family and I recently stayed at the Royal Bissolati hotel for two days during winter, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The service provided by receptionist Manuel Jose was exceptional; he made our check-in process seamless and enjoyable. Throughout our stay, we found the facilities to be well-maintained and the amenities to be top-notch. The hotel's ambiance was warm and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for a winter getaway. We were thoroughly impressed by the level of attention to detail and the genuine hospitality displayed by the staff. Our time at the Royal Bissolati was truly memorable, and we look forward to returning in the future
I booked a three-night stay at this hotel, but after just one night, I encountered numerous issues that made my experience unacceptable. The room was plagued by excessive traffic noise, making rest difficult. The bathroom was in poor condition, with visible water damage and mold around the sink’s backsplash, and no counter space for toiletries. The overhead shower was nonfunctional, leaving only the hand shower operational. Most alarmingly, the curbless shower design caused water to spill onto the room’s floor, pooling near the foot of the bed. The dark flooring concealed this hazard, and I slipped as a result. Thankfully, I was unharmed, but this poses a serious safety risk for guests. Due to these issues, I checked out the following morning and requested a refund for the remaining two nights. Unfortunately, hotel management refused to accommodate my request. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing and unsafe experience, and I strongly advise against staying at this property.
We were going to go to Rome for 3 days with our friends as 2 couples and stay at this hotel. My husband's fever rose to 40 degrees on the morning of the trip and he was hospitalized for 2 days. The airline company refunded all the money. While I was in the hospital, I informed the hotel immediately and informed them before check-in time. I said I have a health report, it is impossible for us to travel, we cannot come but our friends are coming, but the hotel did not refund the money. They said they could not refund. A hotel that lacked understanding. Our friends stayed at the hotel, the rooms were very small, the toilet was literally right next to the bed, the hotel charged 270 Euros extra to change rooms.
