Since our usual “go-to”-Hotel was booked out we ended up at Hotel Royal. After some of the review we saw online we were actually surprised how clean , big and comfortable the rooms were. However communication w the receptionist is more than difficult ( even when you speak Czech ). Staff very unfriendly. Breakfast 0/10.we gladly skipped and went to a coffee place close by for food . Room facing to the market square very noisy on a weekend night . No problems staying w a dog ( really small extra free). Good location and great value. Overall okay for a short stay
Checked into a used room at 2 AM and had to wait 30 minutes for them to “clean” it. All they did was change the sheets and towels — the floor and toilet were still dirty. Breakfast was okay at best. Staff spoke very poor English and were laughing on a video call during my check-in. Overall, not a good experience.
It is was to small, we got 3 beds for 5 people and 1 bed even was broken. The food was really bad, we all had stomach aches and wanted to throw up. It was only on 1 day even warm. And we also haven't got any kind of room service. We also had to hit the toilet for it to work.
