Hotel Royal Kuala Lumpur

Great Hotel and very strategic area. Comfort and easy access to everywhere. Even Grab also easy to drop and pick-up. Bukit Bintang Monorel, self service Laundry, Halal Restaurant, Lot 10 Shopping Mall, mini grocery store are all walking distance. Breakfast are great too. Stayed here for 4 nights and it was awesome. Will come again

I recently stayed at Hotel Royal Kuala Lumpur, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is located right in the heart of Bukit Bintang, which makes it an ideal choice for travelers who want easy access to shopping malls like Pavilion, Lot 10, and Sungei Wang, as well as plenty of restaurants and public transport options. Just steps away from major shopping malls and the monorail station. Very convenient for both leisure and business travelers. But the hotel rooms are a bit dated. Carpets and furniture show signs of wear and could use refurbishment. One disappointing aspect of our stay was the restaurant service. The staff didn’t seem very friendly, possibly due to being understaffed. Tables were not cleared promptly, and basic utensils like forks and spoons were not provided—they even told us there were none available. What upset me the most was that my aunt slipped and fell when coming out of the elevator because the floor was wet. We reported it to the front desk, but they didn’t even offer an apology. My aunt is in her 60s, and a fall like that is no joke. It was a very upsetting experience, and I expected the hotel to respond more professionally and responsibly.

Excellent location and great service but the hotel is too old needs an update. No smart TVs, the furniture looks old. Also the housekeeping staff need professional training, they thought away my bags and empty boxes, there was receipts inside, they should know not to through anything not in the garbage bin. They also come to housekeeping despite there is no disturb sign.
