Hotel Royal Prague

A very nice hotel, with clean, well-equipped, and quiet rooms. Good location - ~75m from a metro station, about 3,3 km from Charles Bridge. The hotel has a private, underground parking place, but there are a lot of (paid) parking places around the Hotel. The hotel is in an office district, so most nearby restaurants are open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 or 3:00 PM.

Nice hotel, convenient for events at Forum Karlin. It's a long walk to the old town but the trams appear nearby (we walked). There is underground parking which is pretty limited so call in advance to book it. Breakfast was nice but slightly limited for vegans.

First of all, the positives. Breakfast was good and the location was excellent. Room very modern and bed was comfortable. But our expectations were let down. The rooms are advertised as with air conditioning. This is incorrect. We stayed here for 4 nights and brought it up on the first day just constantly being dismissed with no resolution at all other than to open the window, we were right next to a main road so that made it very loud. The staff were not helpful with this and were quite rude about it basically saying that there’s nothing they can do about this. Having looked through a few reviews, this came up a bit but as this was a while again presumed it was fixed. It isn’t. The room reached 27 degrees at some points of the night. The shower head is also about half way up the wall, around waist height which was a very odd position and not helpful for showering.
