Great location. Room was fine, although very hot and A/C not working. The room was small but as we expected in the centre of Paris. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly, but what truly makes a hotel great are the small details and the way it treats its guests. I was staying there on my birthday – something the hotel was aware of – but no gesture was made. It doesn’t take much: a simple bottle of wine, a small note, or even a complimentary cocktail at the hotels bar would’ve made a difference. Something to say, "we thought of you." Especially in a hotel that charges this much, it costs so little to put a smile on someone’s face — and that’s what guests remember Reply to the hotel respond : This could have been a lovely response—if only you hadn’t known in advance that it was my birthday. My mother actually emailed the hotel two weeks ahead of time, and your reply was that a cake could be arranged for €12. Now, this isn’t about the money. But when you're in Paris, home to some of the best bakeries in the world, is that really the best you could come up with? It doesn’t take much—certainly not anything that costs money. Even a simple “Happy Birthday” message on the room TV screen on the day would have been enough. So yes, your reply feels more insulting than thoughtful.

I'm 200cm tall and the person checking didn't obviously know anything about the rooms as the 2 tiny single beds stuck together just didn't work. No room and no view room 300 is tucked next to the lift and has no view. If you are there for business... don't the desk is too small WiFi unsecured... guest WiFi is almost public. Shower is a dribble and there is no power near the bed and only 1 power point. Location is the only thing going for it... but I have stayed at bigger, cheaper, cleaner and don't bother with the breakfast... 5 min walk in any direction will do you very well.
