Hotel Royal Village

A fantastic hotel booked through jet2holidays. We went half board for 2 adults and 2 children. Our room had a great view of the lake and was clean and well equipped. The staff everywhere were very friendly and very helpful. There were 3 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool, a proper trampoline with sides for protection, table tennis tables and 3 restaurants, 2 open for food at breakfast and evening (the Italian restaurant needs booking in morning and worth booking just in case. It has a massive choice of food and dessert including a great mix of pasta dishes and large pizzas cooked in the pizza oven) There is a bar/gelato//cafe/restaurant that serves proper meals a la carte at lunch time, but does also offer snacks (cheese on toast) and great ice cream rest of the day and a well stocked bar. Its a short walk down to the centre of limone by the lake with 2-3 routes down. Potential development points are coffee and juice at breakfast, however, there is a great cafe at the bottom of the hill open from 6am which I walked down to in the morning before the family got up and had some chill time with the papers alongside a great cappuccino and a freshly baked pastry! Nice place. Swimming pools, ping pong, playground for kids, gym. Pretty good food. Quality of room could be a little bit better for that price but it was acceptable. Good place, far away from loud central town but with nice pavement next to a river that will take you to the main streets of Limone.

Wonderful stay here. Lovely pools, spectacular views over 'the lake'. Good breakfast. Right on trail taking you into the mountains and a world of trails open up from there. Clean and fresh. Would love to go back.
