Hotel Rozmarin

Really great retreat in the mountains ! Although it’s 5 mins walk from Predeal centre this hotel offers amazing views from the rooms and from the restaurant / terrace - breathtaking Mountain View when you’re having your meals or a drink ! Rooms were tidy , comfortable and good amenities - the hotel itself it’s super rustic featuring loads of woodwork , the restaurant is almost exclusively made of wood (interior ) Staff were super nice , helpful and efficient ! Food is exceptionally good ! The traditional Romanian cottage cheese Doughnut with sour cream and blue berry jam (papanași) was the highlight of our trip Price wise affordable for tourists ! (For locals might be a bit expensive ) but still worth it ! Shoutout to the massage therapist Mr Sorin who helped us relax after a long day of exploring the nearby mountains (needs pre booking but it was well worth it )

Top 5 the worst personnel I've ever encountered. The food is above average, the dessert is really bad and the bar is something you find at the local drunk bars in the countryside. Rooms are fine though. The personnel is very rude, irritable and lacks manners (especially the guy at the bar). Good if you need only a room. You're not welcome in the restaurant anyway.

What's worse than the filthy living conditions is the attitude of the reception person (was a tall fit man that day) - they behave like they make you a favor and let you stay in this filth for free. They are very rude and refuse to help - I nicely asked for a bottle opener and the reception guy refused. The sauna is closed after eight. The view is trash - lots of traffic and loud noise from the road. The prices of 5 star hotel but quality of something else.
