Hotel Rural Brícia du Mar

I was staying at a nearby villa and came to this hotel daily to use their gym. 10 euros per day pay as you go at the gym reception. Equipment was excellent - good range of weights and cardio machines. They had a smith machine, barbells, benches, cables, leg press, power tower etc. Spacious gym and very quiet. Hotel looked good as I walked through it to gym - spotlessly clean and well laid out.

We had an amazing stay at this resort.. we checked in around 8:30pm after a long drive from Porto and the receptionist waited for us and quickly checked us in... explaining the facilities and services available. Breakfast options were nice even for us vegetarians... Everything was hot and fresh.. The pool was a good size and looked inviting however we couldn't use it as we had plenty of activities outside 😊 The resort was super clean, comfortable...clothes line to dry out clothes was a good touch. I Wish they had placed a wash cloth and dish scrubber in the kitchenette though. We had prepaid parking however considering the time of year (mid May) this was not necessary as plenty of free parking was available!

The staff is very nice. It's a very calm, quite pool area. Good breakfast. The rooms are very spacious and a small kitchen to prepare snacks, but there is no airflow in the rooms at night. Also the rooms are connected by a simple door to your neighbors room, which is a bit awkward since you can hear everything that's happening in the other room. Luckily ours were very quiet, still your heard them snore or go to the bathroom or their normal conversation. Despite this we still enjoyed our stay and would still recommend the place for everything else.
