Hotel Rural Finca de la Florida

We have a rule, never eat in hotel restaurants, broke that tonight the most delicious food served by Jon who was working +30 covers in his own (including a table of 12). We chose the Lamb and the Goat both of which were sensational rich and flavourful. Until tonight we thought Goat was a bit dry but this meat was soft juicy and flavoursome- and the portions were generous. A couple of drinks and change out of £50, great value. Jon is outstanding speeding around tables taking orders, serving food and wine clearing and taking money, you may say that’s his job but I’ve seen amazing service tonight, he needs a pay rise!!

Beautiful hotel within the wineries. Large rooms, clean and silent. The hotel restaurant is very good

We took this hotel for a week as base camp to explore the island. It's situated nearly in the center of the island next to the various bodegas (wineyards). The nearby road to the bodega area is no disturbance at all. Our 2-bed-room was quite large and nicely equipped. The whole building seems to be a former finca. The wooden parts outside could have some renovations but no big deal. Bathroom was in perfect condition 👍 Jon, the waiter for bar and restaurant, is always agile, helpful and friendly as well as the rest of the team. If you don't insist on sea view and beach parties at night we definitely recommend this house.
