Hotel Rural Monnaber Nou & SPA

We have recently returned from a fabulous 9-night stay at Monnaber Nou. We stayed in a suite with balcony at the Casa Rural building and it exceeded our expectations. The staff (Nadal in particular!) were exceptionally friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious which was welcome when we needed to retreat from the hottest temperatures. The restaurant food was also delightful and although we usually eat out in local restaurants we happily ate at the hotel on 4 nights. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful buffet style enjoyed either indoors or on the terrace. Poolside was never crowded and sun beds /loungers were always free and available. The gym equipment in the spa area does need updating, but we experienced very high temperatures so exercise was less of a priority. Easily reached from Palma airport this is a wonderful holiday destination for families and /or couples and we would be delighted if the opportunity arose to visit again. Thankyou to all staff for helping us enjoy ourselves fully.

This peaceful spot, with a backdrop of lush green wooded mountains and surrounded by wildflower meadows, is a total haven. The hotel buildings are rustic but clean and service is friendly and efficient. The food is great, the accommodation good value for money, the pool and facilities spot on. I will definitely come back.

This really is a hotel with a view! With the mountains in the background and an overall rustic feel to the area it felt different and welcoming. A major advantage to the hotel is the amount of hikes/walks that you are able to do, personally I found the blue route up to a mountain summit especially nice. I would’ve given this hotel a higher rating if it weren’t for the abundance of ants in the rooms, upon waking up there were ants crawling around on the floor and all around in our luggage. The spa and pool felt as if they could do with a renovation. The breakfast buffet was of a continental type with some Spanish touches, although a nice variety of food there were flies feasting on the buffet too. To summarise, this hotel really is a nice place to relax and unwind, and with the close proximity to Palma it’s relatively easy to get here. However, based on my experience, it seems as if the hotel is in need of refurbishment.
