This hotel is perfectly fine. I don't agree with some of the negative reviews that have been posted. 1. Rooms are recently refurbished, clean and OK size wise. Mine had windows on the courtyard and was quiet. 2. Bathrooms, showers, WIFI and AC worked very well. 3. Mattress was comfortable. 4. Breakfast is absolutely fine, fresh and plentiful. 5. On the evidence of my room and the common areas, photos of the rooms and interior have not been altered on the website. 6. There was no construction noise, no bathroom issues and certainly no bugs. This hotel is better than other hotels I have stayed at in Paris for the same money and better than (say) the Sheraton in Times Square- to give some international perspective. It is not a Relaix Chateau or an Intercontinental or the Ritz but you are not paying that money either. In sum, it is good for holidays or business travel. Do not let the negative reviews spook you.
I stayed here during my trip to Paris. This hotel served all my needs. The price was affordable and reasonable, and the rooms were large enough and clean. The shower had really nice water pressure. The electronic kettle worked so quickly: it was great to kick back in my room and drink many cups of tea at the end of the day. The hotel is close to many of the metros, so you can easily take the train to Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, and a bunch of other places. You can also walk to those places from the hotel too (it’s about 40 minute walk to the Lourve Museum. I did it a few times). I would’ve liked a small refrigerator in the room. But overall - this hotel helped make my stay in Paris much more agreeable. I recommend
It needs huge renovation. Do not even think of a standard room, tiny, you cannot even open your suitcase, unacceptable "view" to a dirty yard, unacceptable bathroom. Upgrade to have simply a decent one. OK location with transportation, polite staff (except a man at the reception during the mornings), OK breakfast. Old building, a bit noisy, homeless people at the road-didn't feel that safe. Avoid if possible.
