Hotel Río Bidasoa

I had a great experience staying at Hotel Rio Bidasoa. The room was very spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, offering a comfortable space to relax after exploring San Sebastián. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service — the staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with any questions or requests. Their warm and professional approach made the stay feel even more welcoming.

Our stay was great… the rooms were adequate and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was reasonable but the coffee wasn’t the best… it would be better if there was a bowl of fresh fruit salad. The use of the car park was important for us but guests must remember to prebook .. we had no qualms with the 16 Euro daily charge. The location was marvellous for walking into the old town and being at the other end of Honarribia to the beach meant a walk which was fine with us but for those with cars there is a pay and display car park close to the main beach. What made our stay standout was the reception staff who were all without exception very helpful… giving us travel advice and calling restaurants for us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay..

Very good hotel with welcoming staff. My only criticism was the very hot corridor and room on the first floor. The room suffered also from street noise as the windows did not keep out the sounds and could not be opened to cool the room down at night because of noise.
