Hotel Saint Clair Magnificent Mile

I booked two rooms for our family. The hotel was conveniently located for everything we wanted to do in Chicago. We were able to walk to most everything, although we used uber for a couple of things. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The elevators in the hotel were a little slow. The staff were all very accommodating and super helpful with everything we needed. They even let us store our luggage for an afternoon after checking out but before we were meant to catch a flight. I would book here again.

I decided to celebrate my birthday here and it was fabulous! The check in was so smooth! Everyone was so nice and hospitable! Especially Will! Will was so nice , so sweet, so helpful and so caring throughout our stay! He went over and beyond and beyond even more . He made our stay a 10/10. I will definitely be back!

I had to stay here for a night while I was visiting the city. The hotel is easy to find. There’s something to do literally at every corner. I stayed on the 12th floor, and when I walked into the rooms, it was a little small which I already knew because I read the previous reviews. But there was the sense of calmness, and a safe cozy feeling. Even though outside, it was obviously really loud because of the city, it was like a little sanctuary and I think it’s because of the size of the rooms. The lady that checked me in was very nice and the man that checked me out was also very nice. Everything was very clean in my room. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best view, but that’s OK. I would definitely stay here again. And when I went, the elevator was broken so there was only one. The elevator is also really small. Like almost the size of a closet. But it’s OK cause it was fast. I enjoyed my stay. Also, I went to go take a stroll by the lake and to my surprise I left my key upstairs. So when I came back to tell them if they can let me in, he made me a copy of my key card, but before he did, he made sure to ask for my ID. Which I think was great because I’ve been seeing a lot of news stories where hotels will just give you a key to the room and they won’t even check for identification. So I felt safe. There is no washer dryer that I know of. There is no pool. There is no area to do your work. There is a lounge downstairs, but it gets full pretty fast. Basically you’re just paying for a room in a very nice area for the night. And that was What I wanted anyway so I’m not too upset. But I was doing a solo travel, if you are staying for vacation, especially with the family, I don’t recommend this hotel for you.
